Peabutter Shortbread


1 Cup Butter
3/4 Cup NoNuts Golden Peabutter*
1/2 Cup Icing Sugar
1/2 Cup Cornstarch
1 Cup Flour
1/2 tsp Vanilla

*Remember you can substitute any flavour of NoNuts Peabutter in all our recipes.

Melted chocolate for decorating (if desired)


Preheat oven to 350ºC

Cream margarine and NoNuts Golden Peabutter together, add the sugar, and cream again. Add the cornstarch and whip well, add the flour and whip again (about 2 minutes).

The dough will be VERY soft.

Use a cookie press, piping bag or drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350ºC for 8-10 mins or until just lightly golden on the edges. Do not overbake!


Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 1 week – or wrap tightly and freeze for longer storage.
