Peabutter Cookie Dough Bars
For the Cookie Dough:
1/2 Cup Butter- Softened
3/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar- Packed
1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
1/4 Cup NoNuts Golden Peabutter*
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 Can (14oz) Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 Cups Mini Chocolate Chips
For the Frosting:
3/4 Cup NoNuts Golden Peabutter
3/4 Cup Semi- Sweet Chocolate Chips
*Remember you can substitute any flavour of NoNuts Peabutter in all our recipes.
In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter with brown sugar until fluffy.
Add vanilla and Peabutter, beat until fluffy.
Add flour and sweetened condensed milk, beat until everything is blended well.
Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
Press into a greased 8×8 baking dish
In a microwave safe dish, melt Peabutter and chocolate chips together using 50% power about 1 min 30 seconds, stiring every 30 seconds- DO NOT overheat, stir until completely smooth
Pour frosting over the cookie base, refrigerate for 3 hours (or overnight) cut into bite sized pieces.
Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 1 week – or wrap tightly and freeze for longer storage.
